Notes
Thank you all with awe

I apocalyptically thank Miss Kat for laying out this book with great kindness; without her, nihil. José Pacheco's constant advice has been utterly invaluable. Ayşe Tuzlak kindly collated my texts. Ossian Brown's help has been Thunder Perfect Mind. Ruth Bayer has sweetly photographed me for 27 years and also took the frontispiece photograph of me. Ania Goszczyńska tunnelled into my Piscine Illuminati and said Yes thrice. Megan Diddie and Aleksandra Waliszewska painted snails for me with smiles and skulls. Jessica Chappell lambed the final thrust to make me finish this project. Keith Richmond, Ray Russell and Mark Valentine were especially present in the closing scenes of this PickNick. Geoff Cox-Dorée, Steven Stapleton and Michael Cashmore have inspired me since the beginning. Mark Logan has supported me in every way known to the choir angelic. James Blackshaw, Henry Boxer, William Breeze, Michael Lawrence, Andrew Liles Giulio Di Mauro and Lauren Winton have been here for me always. The influence on me of Shirley Collins, Bill Fay and Tony McPhee has been more profound than I can spell. Antony Hegarty, Ben Chasny, Baby Dee, Reinier van Houdt, Nick Cave and John Contreras have kept my soul moist. Norbert Kox, Nick Blinko and John Devlin have moved me to build new spires. Thomas Ligotti has been a soft black star in my heart from the first moment I read his work. Marc Almond, Timothy D'Arch Smith, Little Annie Bandez,Jack Barnett, William Basinski, Eliot Bates, Eva Faber, Michael Faber, Nidge Ince, Paul Jackson, Johan Kugelberg, Melon Liles, Davide Pepe, Greg Peters, Steve Pittis, Sean Michael J. York, Yuen Wah and John Zorn have all graciously sanf their own Omegas to me. Christian Askeland, Heike Behlmer, Dylan Burns, Malcolm Choat, Jenny Cromwell, Stephen Emmel, Tilde Bak Halvgaard, Hugo Lundhaug, Sebastian Richter and Alin Suciu have been sources of Coptic enlightenment as well as friends. Julia Giesler and Thomas Sowards drew me to Assyria and Jonathan Kearney shared his Biblical Hebrew with me. To my mother, Olivia Tibette, my debt is incalculable.
I also invoke those friends how have approached the splendour: Jhonn Balance, Peter Christopherson, Barbara Emmel, Sebastian Horsley, Tiny Tim and my ascended FurFaces - Frighty, Goblin, Ikan, Mao, MilkFace, Rao. Squiggy, Tikky and Yip.
I have doubtless forgotten many who should have been thanked, and I send my regrets from this present to that future.

I was Black Ship.
