Tiny Tim's Christmas Message
My dear friends, this is Tiny Tim saying that I'm very happy to come out with my latest delivery this Christmas Season with my new Christmas C.D. which I happily made in beautiful Sydney, Australia back in 1993. I'm especially pleased with "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth", "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer", and "Rainbow On The River". I think these high voice songs are almost reminiscent of the Tiptoe sound in 1968. I really prefer them as I thought they came right out of the groove. "Rinbow On The River" flowed like "Tiptoe Thru The Tulips". Ini 1935 child-star prodigy Bobby breen, a soprano boy singer, was the rage of the age throughout America and across the world. He was second to Shirley Temple and was discovered by Eddy Cantor. He sang "Rainbow On The River" - it became a big hit in 1935. Mr Breen is now in his seventies and I almost capture his thirteen year old voice in my sixties. You've got to hear it to believe it. It brings Bobby breen back to stardom too!
I also tried a sort-of-rap version as well as a straight version of "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting By An Open Fire)", and I hope Mr Mel Tormé doesn't sell too many stocks! So my attempts for something new with this and the songs "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night"...I pray the message that came with my interpretation is true.
All in all I'm so happy with this Christmas Album. I hope it will bring lots of cheer to the old as well as the young. I'm very happy to be associated with this Christmas Albm and hope those who listen shall get some enjoyment from it.
I thank Jesus Christ for his blessing. I believe in keeping the Christ in Christmas. Everyone has their fantasies, yet of one knows why Christmas became established then Jesus Christ would be in the world and not part of the world. We're in the world of Santa Claus as long as you know where to draw the line. This record indicates this with Mr Sharp's production. Our next step us to see where it goes! Maybe there is a Rinbow on the River!
