This CD compilation of the various studio versions of 'Maldoror' was mastered by Denis at Country Masters and is limited to 200 numbered copies. It accompanies the hand-printed Durtro edition of the lyrics to 'Maldoror Is Dead'.

Track 1 first appeared on the cassette release that Current93 shared with Nurse With Wound, Mi-Mort, the release of which preceded Nature Unveiled. It was the earliest studio recording of 'Maldoror', and was later released on the album Nature Unveiled, being a re-worked, re-recorded and re-mixed version of the first version. Track 3 was recorded for inclusion on the album Thunder perfect Mind, but was left out due to lack of space and time. Its first appearance on the compilation Emblems: The Menstrual Years
