the hafler trio: "'" / "the illusion of the 7th hymn"

officially released friday 25th october 2001 at the Borgarleikhus, Reykjavík, Iceland. the first piece was played back as the musical basis of the second dance piece of three by The Icelandic Dance Company. following the third piece, the hafler trio pieces were played back, along with a new piece based on "samstirni" by Magnús Blöndal Jóhannsson, who appears on the cover of the record. quite a few people walked out, some shaking their heads, others commented that "at least there's beer", and some of the dancers passed notes amongst themselves, giggling.
