This site at Brainwashed will continue to host discography, various news items, and other archive things.
Now available in the MBM store the long-awaited Perennial Divide / Meat Beat Manifesto - Purged / Archive Things double CD.
This is what Jack has to say about this project: "Prior to Meat Beat Manifesto there was Perennial Divide. Archive Things/Purged features unreleased tracks and*instrumental versions from Perennial Divide. Also*included are some of the original MBM demo tracks.*Some of these tracks are 25 years old and never before*available on CD. The original demos, to me, always had more*bite than the actual first release. So here they are...."
The double CD comes in two flavors - a limited edition of 200 each customized and autographed by Jack for $30 and the regular edition for $20.
Also now available in the MBM store the latest Tino Corp release "Surround Sound Works: 5.1 Audio DVD Volume 1" featuring all exclusive tracks from Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto), Ben Stokes (DHS), Mauricio Kagel and others.
Surround Sound Works Volume 1 is a collection of tracks mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound. This audio DVD is playable on any sound system, though for optimal experience we strongly recommend listening on a surround sound system with five speakers and a subwoofer. While this disc does contain imagery, its primary function is aural. - Ben Stokes

It has a title (Autoimmune). It's a double CD featuring vocals from Jack, Oakland's own Azeem, Mr. C and Daddy Sandy and a guest appearance from Z-Trip. We're still working on how it'll come out - more news on that soon. But you can sample a track from the new album exclusively on the new web site!!!
There's a brand new Meat Beat Manifesto shop open at meatbeatmanifesto.shop.musictoday.com. Merchandise includes CDs, DVDs, shirts, and other goodies. We'll keep you posted when new things get added.
Things look a little different around here. Thanks for your patience while discographies, sound samples, videos, old news, and other things are being ported over from the old world into the new world. In the meanwhile, feel free to look around at what's here already. Watch your step. Provide feedback where you see fit.
Jack Dangers has contributed two unreleased songs to the triple CD set to benefit the Brainwaves Festival. "A Strange Case of Instrumentation" and "The Self Enjoy" were recorded in 1981 and 1982 respectively. Only 500 copies were made, and they were not distributed to stores. Remaining copies of the set are available directly through Brainwashed in the Commerce section.
The Travelogue: Live 05 DVD, companion piece to the Live 05 CD, was released by MVD November 21, 2006. It features a five-camera shoot of the Chicago Cabaret Metro show from June 2005 directed and edited by Ben Stokes plus additional cool insider on-tour footage. Available at fine stores everywhere! (And soon in the Meat Beat Manifesto Official Store.)
Look for a new Meat Beat Manifesto web site for 2007 and a special on-line only split 2 CD set of early material from Perennial Divide and Meat Beat Manifesto! More details early in the New Year!
Meat Beat Manifesto won the award for best electronic act in the 17th Annual SF Weekly Music Awards. Congratulations Jack!
Jack has just about finished recording the album. Last week he had Z-Trip up to the studio to guest on the album. Suffice to say given today's date it is unlikely that the album will now be out in the Spring as we'd hoped but early Summer is very likely!
