The One Ensemble are playing at The CCA in Glasgow on February 13th - also performing are Cath & Phil Tyler, and Pekko Kappi. The One Ensemble will be performing about 9pm.
DO NOT BUY Wayward The Fourth on vinyl. The sound quality is awful, we have tried to resolve it (after not being sent a test pressing) but the pressing plant refuse to accept any responsibility. So we are stuck. Many apologies for this - its VERY frustrating for us too. Maybe buy the CD instead?
We've nearly finished work on 'Other Thunders' (as of February 2008), the album created by The One Ensemble Orchestra, based on 2 performances in May/June 2007. We're in the final mixing and editing stages, then we will trying to find the album a friendly label to release it.
A new album by Daniel Padden has been finished, provisionally entitled 'Pause For The Jet'. The plan is for it to be released on the Dekorder label in the next few months.
We now have CD copies of 'Wayward The Fourth' available from us or Secret Eye. (Vinyl will be available in the new year). Get in touch at alcovebaron at hotmail dot com.
Daniel Padden has a new solo album entitled 'The Isaac Storm' on the Ultra Eczema label. It is available now (vinyl only and limited to 400 copies)
From now on Daniel Padden will remove his name from the band, and we will be known as The One Ensemble henceforth. This project started out as a solo recording project, but it has now evolved to a point where it seems un-necessary to have Daniel's name attached to the title. This is largely due to the tremendous nature of Chris Hladowski, Peter Nicholson and Aby Vulliamy.
