• The Kadane Brothers will play a 6-date tour of Germany, France, and Belgium following The New Year dates in November.

• The lyrics for both Newness Ends and The End is Near have been added to the ALBUMS page.
• "Hell House" has recently been turned into a play starring Sarah Silverman, the comedian David Cross, the actor Richard Belzer, the television host Bill Maher and the former porn actress Traci Lords. It is playing at the Steve Allen Theatre in Hollywood. There is a New York Times article about it here.

• The Kadane Brothers are playing a handful of shows in the northeastern US in March 2003. The first show is in Boston, MA at the Middle East with Clint Conley of Mission of Burma/Consanant, who will be joined by Hugo Burnham, drummer from Gang of Four. Clint will also play with the Kadane Brothers at North Six in Brooklyn, NY
• The New Year will team up with SIlkworm for 3 Texas shows in April.

• Matt and Bubba Kadane have scored music for a feature-length documentary titled "Hell House." The film played at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival in September 2001, and as of January 2002 we have news that it will go into theatrical release in the spring of 2002. Hell House will be playing March 10th, 12th, and 14th, 2002 at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX. Check www.sxsw.com for showtimes.
