About This Product Formed in 1998 in a high school in Houston, Texas. Realizing that our views on music and everything about it were pretty much exactly same, we decided to form a group, or duo, whatever you want to call it. We were completely pissed off about the current state of music. It seemed as if no one wanted to take what they were doing all the way. It seemed as if everyone was compromising their music for some reason. We never understood this. The really annoying part was the fact that we knew that people were extremely talented, but the true scope of their talent would never be seen because they were too concerned with selling records. And that is bullshit and we vowed to never do that. We will never compromise anything. We will record what we want, whether it is high frequencies that make your ears bleed, or a straight up dance track. We will never record something for the sake of some one else. That is what we vowed to do. This proved rather difficult though, because we could never find anyone who wanted to release any of our stuff. They all thought it was too much. They said that it wouldn’t sell. This time was also difficult because we were living in Houston. Anyone who has ever been to Houston will agree that, musically, it’s really not the place to be, especially for experimental musicians. We spent the better part of those 2 years just playing random shows around town that never went well at all. It was like this until we came across Phthalo Records. After seeing us live, Phthalocyanine decided that he had to release our debut album. If there is one thing that we will promise, it is that we will release uncompromising, never watered down, and always forward-looking music, regardless of whether or not critics and most people like it.+_+
