After
my post of yesterday about searching for records i stumbled
upon an article about the increased number of women who now
buy MP3's, they have been dubbed the MP She generation by
the industry. It seems as now the fact of going into snobbish
shops full of geeky guys has been removed that the said people
are now buying online an using their own ears to decide what
is hot and what is not like never before. No pressure from
staff, no being made to feel small. It's a small step in the
right direction from the dinosaur which is the industry, it's
just a shame that many choose to shop on outdated business
models such as iTunes. |
