Overall impression: excellent. Part 1 of a two part single (don't you just
hate those!), the other being "Money
Greedy / Broken Homes", this one gives you 1 non-album track.
So, it's up to you if this 1 song is worth the $12, but it was most definitely
worth it for me. "Anti-histamine" is my fav track from both singles
and the new album, "Angels
With Dirty Faces". It's a big nasty slow groove thang with Tricky
sputtering out lyrics as Martina gracefully sings parts of the chorus from
Blondie's "Heart of Glass" in the background. I love it.
"Broken Homes" features marching band like percussion, a full
choir and the gentle co-vocals of Polly Jean Harvey. "Money Greedy"
is a typical "AWDF" midtempo rant and groove. Great stuff.
