Overall impression: excellent. This cd is a compilation of tracks from LPD's '90-'95 albums, up until "From Here You'll Watch the World Go By". Many of my favorite songs were selected from these albums (the ones I own, that is) and they cover the spectrum of LPD's sound and styles rather well. From folksy acoustic/vocal numbers to psychedelic tinged quiet songs to abrasive electronic songs ... this will give you a very nice sonic picture of what LPD is about. The last two tracks are slightly different from the regular album versions, nothing too drastic. A very nice domestic priced (U.S.) starter disc for any budding LPD fanatic, and a great collection for the already devoted LPD listener who doesn't want to carry around 7 albums.
