Overall impression: good. I wasn't very impressed with the album versions of these songs, but this single does a pretty good job of altering them. Megalomaniac is remixed 3 times, the first by Sascha under his Excessive Force guise, the 2nd and 3rd by Dj Talla 2xlc. Why they bothered with the latter two mixes is beyond me, because Sascha's remix is *the* definitive dance remix of the already dance friendly song and the Dj Talla mixes just don't measure up. I would have much preferred remixes of any song by En Esch or Raymond Watts instead. The 2 Anarchy remixes are by Tim Skold and are surprisingly good (I've never been impressed with Skold's previous output). Both of these remixes beef up the song elctronically with slamming bass and drum hits and essentially shed the guitar of the album version. Unfit is remixed by guitarist Gunter Schultz and is also given similar treatment as the guitar is for the most part replaced by electronics to good effect. So, thumbs up for the remixes by the KMFDM boys and thumbs down to the DJ Talla remixes. A decent single, but still doesn't touch the many great singles of yesteryears in my opinion. And my other constant complaint about KMFDM recently ... not enough involvement from En Esch!
