Overall impression: very good. Minimalistic, straightforward, building beat techno. Most tracks are fast bpm bass beat numbers that build with a frenzy of mechanical samples (ticks, claps, snares, hi-hats) and various pulses and drones, a few tracks are shorter bursts of miscellaneous samples. The music almost seems simple in nature (and possibly annoying) but it really isn't ... it's very hypnotic and entrancing. Despite the simplicity and repetition of most of the tracks, it sucks you in as the rhythms and samples build. Really good for when you're doing something else while listening, but not necessary. I highly recommend this to any old school techno fans. This one will bore some people to death though, if you didn't like Plateau, you'll probably hate this ...
Invisible is supposed to re-release his entire backcatalogue and I'm looking forward to getting them all. Packaging for this cd matches the music, minimalistic pics of desolated industrial scenes ...
