PTV '96 were: Genesis P-Orridge, Caresse P-Orridge, Genesse P-Orridge, William Breeze, Michael Campagna, Billy "Pink" Goodrum, Larry Thrasher and Mother Jack.

Overall impression: excellent. This, the most recent PTV album, is my favorite (of those I've heard so far) as an overall album. Trip Reset continues the pop sensibilities of earlier 80's songs like "Godstar", "Arcadia" and "Roman P.", except these new songs are of a kinder, gentler nature ... minimal, yet melodic and soothing. Genesis quietly sings the lyrics as his voice is carried on the accompanying melodies of viola, guitars, keyboards, samples, tabla and minimal percussion. William Breeze's viola is an especially wonderful addition. "Wrongs of Spring" is my fav track, very hypnotic. The cover of Pink Floyd's "Set the Controls .." is good too, the entire album has a bit of a Floyd-like aura. A wonderful musical direction that I hope PTV continues into the future. Trip Reset was accompanied by a remix disc, "Cold Blue Torch" as well.
