Overall impression: hilarious! This is a rather short collection of the Aphex Twin videos. "On" is a bizarre but interesting beach shot vid with lots of Dali-esque stuff and stop motion photography. There's a cardboard cutout of RDJ that gets shifted about along with misc objects like big ears, big scissors, various plastic toys, a guy in an underwater suit, a picture frame, a white flag, etc, etc. "Donkey Rhubarb" shows three whacky, different colored Aphex Twin bears (complete with RDJ faces) dancing about with children, kung fu fighting each other, roaming about various indoor and outdoor scenes and, I believe, I see a couple of 'em humping each other near the end. Now, the crown jewel: "Come to Daddy". Starts out with an old woman walking her dog. She lets the dog take a piss near a pile of trash onto a tv. RDJ's demented face pops up on the screen scaring the hell out of the woman and dog, the woman wanders away and encounters dozens of midget sized RDJ lookalikes in dresses. The rest of the video they carry the tv around and wreak havoc upon each other and various people. Near the end, the RDJ monster comes out of the tv and yells at the old woman, then collects together his brood of midgets.. Chris Cunningham (Aliens, Autechre, Portishead) does a really good job with the effects and shots. A really cool and funny video, probably the best thing to grace MTV in many years. Overall, a short but fun collection, I'm glad I own it. But ... where's the "Ventolin" vid?
