Overall impression: good. It would seem that in order to get a cd released on Mick Harris' label, Possible, all one needs to do is sound like Scorn. Well, that's not such a bad thing actually. "Welcome" isn't all that far off from most of the other artists on Possible (see also "Sonics Everywhere" various artists compilation and Ambush "Rumours") ... minimal drum 'n bass backed with big bass lines and ambient atmospheres. Eraldo's tracks have a much slower tempo than the manic stuff by Ambush and Quoit though. The final 2 tracks of this album (from February '97) I find to be more interesting than the previous 9 tracks (from May-September of '96) due to the added complexity and programming ingenuity. All in all a nice piece of work, but not quite as entrancing as Harris' recent work as Scorn and Quoit ...
