Dead Voices on Air is Mark Spybey, Not Breathing is David Wright.

Overall impression: excellent. This is pretty much what you'd expect of a collaboration between DVOA and Not Breathing, especially Not Breathing's more ambient (beat-less) side. "Azathoth Venom" is the only track with beats, the rest are ambient noise and sound scapes. I prefer the Not Breathing remixes to the DVOA ones, D. Wright adds a bit more depth to Spybey's minimalistic loops, but it's all very enjoyable. If you like either band, you'll love this one. I'm looking forward to more future collaborations between these two innovators. Mark Spybey's sleeve concept is also a nice touch, although I wonder what pics of snow-capped mountains has to do with a fire in the Bronx Zoo ... oh well ...
