Starting in October, at the Coil website, there will be a song-of-the-week, where for an entire week, there will be a full song in crystal clear MP3 format for the download. The song choices will consist of Coil songs which are not currently in print with no plans to bring them back in print. The idea is to share the music, without the pains of pressing and distribution. Please no bootlegging.

CONCORD NH - As the summer grinds on, the race for the Republican nomination for governor is beginning to resemble a demolition derby, much to the dismay of veteran GOP officials and some of the candidates themselves. Former Manchester mayor Emile Beaulieu is having mixed success drawing media attention to the issues he holds dear.
Now, the NH candidate is some old guy. The first time I heard Emile mentioned on TV as part of campaign news, I almost choked on my dinner laughing. I have a feeling that's where RRRon got his alias, but the question is, WHY??? What is it about E.B. that RRRon thought his name should be the title of his own band?
One difference, though: Emile is from New Hampshire, and Emil is from Lowell.
I think "Emil" is the better spelling, because, as I pointed out to RRRon once, it's "lime" spelled backwards. Ueiluaeb Lime - and "Beau Lieu" means "beautiful place" in French.

GIVE IT ANOTHER SHOT"Angels with Dirty Faces" from Tricky came out in June of this year, and I must admit, I didn't like it at first. The more I listen to it now, the more deep and hypnotic it gets. This time around, Tricky employs PJ Harvey to do guest vocals, and progressing in a similar way from the last album, Pre Millennium Tension, there are more musicians, giving the music a more organic than electronic sound. It was a little rough around the edges, but now I can't stop listening to it. Give it another shot if I told you otherwise when it was released. - Jon Whitney
