Richard H. Kirk has released another CD as Blacworld. Subduing Demons In South Yorkshire is described as
"An exercise in sonic meditation and satanic dub, essentially an
ambient remix of Blacworld. Clocking in as a single track at a staggering 53
minutes 52 seconds, I.D.s have been added at relevant points throughout
to enable the listener to easily access into the body of the track should
they so desire. Due to the hypnotic nature of the soundscapes, it is a
genre defying composition that soon draws in the listener to terrifying
effect." It's out now on Intone.

And the Ambulance Died in His Arms, the latest relase from Coil
has made its way into the shops this past week rather suddenly with
little warning. The disc is a recording from their appearance at All
Tomorrow's Parties and features five songs that have never been
released in studio versions: "Triple Sun Introduction," "Snow Falls
into Military Temples," "A Slip in the Marylebone Road," "Triple Sons
and the One You Bury," and "The Dreamer is Still Asleep - The
Somnambulist in an Ambulance." While stores like Rough Trade are
carrying it already, the Threshold House should offer it soon.

Some interesting news from the Emerald Isle: Aranos
will be playing live, spinning some records and performing as part of
an improv trio as an accompaniment to a UV light show, all proceeds
going towards the Galway circus project, which gives local kids the
opportunity to learn circus skills like juggling, unicycling and
clowning. This sounds like a joke, but apparently it's not, and the
outdoor show takes place on the 23rd of April at 3:00 PM in Millennium
Park, and 9:00 PM at the Galway Rowing Club. Aranos will also be
performing in Townhall Theatre in Galway on the 26th on May. Be there
or be sane.

It's a Camac electic/acoustic harp. It stands about five and a half
feet tall and is painted blue and green and lavender and gold and pink
with vines growing up the column and on the sounding board and there's
a picture of an angel with an acordion and a fishing pole catching a
fish and it says in large letters "Hooray For Baby Dee." It was stolen
from a house in Ghent, Belgium. Baby Dee is offering a reward of five
hundred dollars for its safe return—no questions asked.
