Sassi & Loco update
Christos Tourgelis (ctourgel@extro.ucc.su.oz.au) forwarded this to NagNagNag,

From: Jeff Long (longwon@psinet.net.au)
Any Cabaret Voltaire fans out there? I've some hot news for you!
Stephen Mallinder is currently recording with Travis Calley (6 Mile High ex Yummy Fur) and myself (Jeff Long a.k.a. longwon) under the moniker 'Sassi and Loco'..........
Look out for a very early Sassi + Loco track on VOLUME Trance Pacific when it comes out.....
Also stand by for some wicked rhythmic dubs and remixes by the Cooling Brothers.....(MAL is gettin' busy)
Contrary to popular belief he does not live on a sheep station in Australia, but resides here in Perth where he is catalyzing an Australian electronic renaissance. LUV YA WORK
Big up to Richard H. and all Cabophiles everywhere!
Peace and universal beats

RHK on radio (again)
Chris McGrail:
"Kirk recently did four weekly slots on a Sheffield pirate radio station, Groove FM. In the first session, he played music that influenced him over the past 15 years, in the second he did a mixture of sandoz, electronic eye etc., recent stuff. the third was influences again, and the fourth was a 3 hour set comprising of completely new material. he's currently wondering what to do with it all, and it may be released under a new guise in the future. it may well surface as real audio 2 on obsolete before then though..."

More unsubstantiated rumours
DJ Parrot (of Sweet Exorcist) has a new label called "Earth Records". It has been rumoured that The Molemen's "Beneath the Earth"/"Industrial Gunk" is RHK, but the label implies that the tracks are written by someone called Moles, and it doesn't sound much like him either. It's still pretty odd and worth checking out if your in to avant-garde noise dance music, though.
Also DJ Parrot is now recording under the name of "On".

19th February
Mal in Max Tausend
Ron Pringle said the following about the Max Tausend single:
"I also have in my possession a CD entitled "the jungle plays me songs of death" by the group Max Tausend. Liner notes are as follows: "Max Tausend is a project with various guestartists (sic) from all around the world. This first CD Single release features Steven Mallinder"
"Inside sleeve has more: "The composer and writer of Propaganda's biggest hit "Dr. Mabuse", teams up with Cabaret Voltaire's Steven Mallinder and Yasuaki Shimizu, whose credits range from TV spots to Sakamoto collaboration, vocalist on Discipline is Muckina Benzin."
"There are 5 mixes of the title track which are, in order: 1. original mix, 2. eastern influence mix, 3. the hamburg night version, 4. discipline cut up, 5. painful parfume mix.
