Exclusive Cabs track and RHK live
Andy Brooks (Vonalksz@aol.com):
In 1995/96 Richard donated a track under the Cabaret Voltaire name to a compilation CD of Sheffield acts called "Made in Sheffield"
on the Little Mesters label. The track is called "Flesh of God" and is unavailable elsewhere. All proceeds from the album were given to
two charities for the homeless in Sheffield.
The Little Mesters label also has a club night at the Arches club in Sheffield called "Livemind", where, on Friday 24th Jan, Richard
made his live debut as Richard H.Kirk, his first live performance of any kind in 5 years. The performance was superb, as we all expected.
The crowd was rather a mixed bunch of old Cabs fans and younger clubbers but the atmosphere was still electric.
If you're interested in getting hold of a copy of "Made in Sheffield" please feel free to e-mail
me for details.
