Releases this week include titles from from Dillinger Escape Plan, Os Mutantes, Pluramon, Bogdan Raczynski, LCD Soundsystem, and Wire.
November starts out strong with new releases from Stereo Total, Gescom, Ellen Allien, The Pyramids, and Sun City Girls, several new comps each from Sublime Frequencies and Psychic Circle, and bunch of reissues on Fallout.
October finishes out with a handful of new releases including titles from Shit Robot, Buck 65, Charalambides, and, from Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch: "Twin Peaks: All New Season Two Music". Reissues this week come from Vashti Bunyan, David Byrne, and LCD Soundsystem.
Look for new things this week from Einstürzende Neubauten, Savage Republic, Lazarus, Sightings, Black Dice, Alter Ego, and BJ Nilsen as well as old things from Can, Of Montreal, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Neko Case, and Soul Merchants.
Some of the new notables this week include Tarwater, Foetus, Karen Dalton, Mammal, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Japancakes. Reissues are available from Current 93, The Black Dog, Les Temps Heureux, Terry Riley, and the Butthole Surfers, not to mention a whole mess of reissued LPs from the Gits!
Celebrate Columbus Day by discovering some new stuff in the shops this week from Luke Vibert, KTL, Beirut, the Fiery Furnaces, XBXRX, Robert Wyatt, Uusitalo, Robert Pollard, Sun City Girls, Venetian Snares, and a ton more. Here in cyberspace there'll be the pay-what-you-like digital release direct from (currently label-free) Radiohead, and for reissues there's titles from Gescom, Enon (who also have a new one out this week), Morning Glory, LCD Soundsystem, Moby Grape, Blue Mountain Eagle and many, many others.
Small week for new releases but Om and Sharon Jones are nothing to sneeze at. Old but relevant to us are remastered reissues from Foetus, Test Dept., and Joy Division.
As September nears its close we're blessed with new titles from Damon & Naomi, Stars, Devendra Banhart, Múm, PJ Harvey, Jandek, Fennesz, Magik Markers, and couple of swell folks performing some Stockhausen. There are a bunch of reissues as well including Laibach, Moby Grape, the No Neck Blues Band, MC5, James Cotton, Michael Yonkers, and a heapin' helpin' of reissues by Cluster. September rolls on with new stuff from Acid Mothers Guru Guru, Valgeir Sigurðsson, Time of Orchids, Thurston Moore, His Name is Alive, Broken Social Scene, the Legendary Shack Shakers, Akron/Family, Ministry, and Wooden Wand. On the reissue side of things, there's fresh stock available from Ananda Shankar, Pererin, and the '70s folk-psychers Genesis (from Columbia, mind you!)
It's another massive release list this week! New music is due from Richard Bishop, Pinback, Ben Baruch, Holgar Czukay & Luna, Animal Collective, Gang Gang Dance, Cinematic Orchestra, Frank Black, The Red Krayola, and Dirty Projectors. Reissues, vault, and comps are due from Young Marble Giants, Boxer, Psychic Circle and Subliminal Frequencies.
September kicks off with notable new releases from Sleeper Thief, Michael Yonkers and Frances White and reissues from The Legendary Pink Dots, La Femme, Secret Oyster, Culture and a compilation of two collaborations between Heiner Goebbels and Alfred Harth.
New releases are due this week from Liars, Angels of Light, No Age, KMFDM, Odd Nosdam, Aesop Rock and Obituary, while reissues are due from Mimir, Caetano Veloso and Pink Floyd.
