Part of a flurry of interviews and appearances surrounding the release of Current 93's brand new album Black Ships Ate the Sky, legendary freeform radio station WFMU featured an interview of David Tibet yesterday, conducted by Brian Turner. Interspersed with the lengthy interview are tracks from the new album, as well as a bunch of other tracks by Tibet's favorite artists, including Don Bradshaw-Leather, Jan Dukes de Grey, Cyndi Lauper, Little Annie and OM. Available finally on Sunday, May 14th is the PinkFlag America box for Wire. From the Pink Flag press release: "The long awaited collectors' box set contains re-mastered re-issues of Wire's groundbreaking classic first three albums Pink Flag, Chairs Missing, and 154, along with two CDs of previously unreleased recordings documenting the bands' live performances at the Roxy, London (1st and 2nd April 1977) and at the CBGB Theatre, New York (18th July 1978) providing a set of the essentials of 70s Wire provided from both the studio and live standpoints."

V/Vm have decided to go ahead and press up the ambitious 6xCD boxed set release of the entire Caretaker album, Theoretically Pure Anterograde Amnesia. All pre-ordered copies and only pre-ordered copies will be numbered and personalised in some way. The whole release will be ready to go early to mid June following some European shows. When it's released the price will rise to around £18 or more.

release, recorded in Vienna last year and packaged with an extra brand
